Looks like we have Notre Dumb coming up in 2024. I wonder how the schedules will change with OU and t.u. coming into the SEC in 2025.

We're scheduled to play at Tennessee (2023), and at Kentucky (2025) for the first time since joining the SEC. I hope Mobilehoma and tu don't screw that up.

Our OOC schedule shouldn't change much unless we move to a 9 game SEC schedule.

I'm looking forward to hearing Neyland Stadium explode with noise when the FTAB forms the block T at the end of the halftime drill. That's gonna be cool!

Whatever the schedule is lets not have first 3 games at home when its hot as **** and then go away for 4 weeks when its only almost as hot as ****.

Is there any guarantee the band gets their 7 minutes, iirc L$U decided to not let the band perform a few years ago some bs about needing that time for alumni recognition ceremony

That is to be determined since it is still one year away. I guess it is more hoping on my part that it will happen.

That's because the AD at the time was a complete idiot... he was the one that screwed up the Duke lacrosse scandal. He actually wanted to forbid visiting bands from marching because they might go longer than time budgeted and cause a penalty to be called against LSU. Then he comes up with this "great" idea to let the visitor band March 2nd and if time runs out, then run them off of the field...

Can you see the chaos that would have erupted last week when LSU played Southern and the Human Jukebox wouldn't have been allowed to march?

Glad they got that worked out and the FTAB is getting their portion of halftime minutes
had some friends who had kids in the band and they were not pleased when that announcement came out

Um, we beat Kentucky (with Benny Snell) at Kyle Field in overtime back in 2017.

We are at ND in 25 as well. So I might get to see two games that year.

I really hope we can take over Notre Dame Stadium in 25" like Georgia did a few years back. I'm going to mark my calendar for that one to make sure I can make the trip. At Miami may be interesting if it's a primetime night game and their program isn't a train wreck (or ours) and we have a good showing. Although I hear Miami fans can be a little rough to opposing fans if I'm remembering correctly.

Wonder how many 3 and outs we'll have until then?

As I understand one of the most likely scenarios after tu and OU join is that there will no longer be east-west divisions, SEC will go to a 9 game conf schedule. Each team will have 3 teams in conf they play every year and the remaining 12 will rotate through every 4 years with a home and home with each over the 4 years.

You will end up playing at least once in every SEC stadium every 4 years.

It's been hinted that the 3 we play every year would be tu, LSU and Miss St.

tu would have us, OU and Arkansas - I think.
