Calzada is better than Haynes.

All this off season all I heard was we are obviously going to be better at QB because we couldn't be any worse…hold my beer.

As much as i am a critic... disagree with OP. Calzada is now 3rd string at Auburn. He was and is bad. While I am not happy with the Turnover King, I would take him over Calzada.
I'll Take Weigman over all.

Yet Texas lost.
Bama played a very undisciplined game which is uncharacteristic of them. And they still managed to win. There are not many teams that could get away with that. And if they had pulled that crap against someone like Georgia they would have had their ass handed to them by 3 TDs.

Because they have a head coach who does not run an overly complicated offense and actually schemes for the players he has. Jimbo won't change his o to suit the team. The QB looks like he's trying to do complicated math problem when he's staring at the d! Feel bad for any QB have to make double digit pre snap reads.

Watch the Texas / Bama game . Quinn Ewers in his second start as a freshman played pretty dam good and I think would have beaten Bama if he didn't get injured. Connor should be just as good.

He's also had fewer than 100 yds passing in a game, which Calzada never did, so there's that.

Also the only time Calzada threw 2 picks in one game was against Ole Miss. Haynes has donethat in 2 of the 3 full games he's played, and against much worse competition.

Calz had a shoulder injury while playing at A&M. Bet you didn't know that..

He missed out of spring practice due to his injury. Their coaches have praised his ability to learn the new system.

But, keep raggin' away if it makes you feel better.
