Just anecdotal evidence, but my Freshman son said after the game that the fish on the 3rd deck weren't even passing back the Yell signs, and that numerous pockets of groups were sitting down the majority of the game. He was pissed.

Yells after the game don't need to be passed back as most of the fans are leaving.

Welcome to the Instagram generation. The days of old when people had nothing to do but watch the game and yell are long gone. Kyle Field is really no different than most other stadiums I have visited other than being larger.

People find the weirdest **** to ***** about. The team just got worked by app state, who ****ing cares about passing it back.

Appy State's section with a couple hundred fans brought the heat today. In the old days, the student section would have drowned them out, but not today. The only thing louder than them (with the exception of the kick-off return) was the DJ.

We were to their right and I didn't see any of them sitting down. They were loud and very engaged. Hell they were even chanting "That Was Bewlsheet" and "we want Max"!!

I was upset about Ags not uncovering. The Yells were all out of whack and most students were on their cell phones and not watching or participating, cadets uniforms looked terrible as the rumors about the Corps being woke and standards have gotten very relaxed are true, and any Ag wearing a fraternity or sorority attire didn't acknowledge a single Howdy all day long.

This is not the Texas A&M I grew up with and fondly remember. It's gone to crap. Sad.

This is true. The Yell Leaders were too busy trying to be cute instead of leading Yells. Why do they huddle under the goal post silently instead of being with the 12th Man getting rowdy? Because they selfishly just want to be on TV.

Definitely not impressed with the woke Yell Leaders this year. Booo.

Also, I noticed the water in the fish pond was slightly more acidic than normal. Classic new army.

SBISA meatloaf also was served almost cold. WTF?

Is the DJ back from last year? I thought the timing and production were lackluster compared to last season. I tried to find the DJ but couldn't seem to locate him in the student section like last season. I was in the south zone so maybe I couldn't see clearly where he was.
