The Texas Aggies are building a team that isn't based on the Alabama role model. Our new role model averaged 38 points per game last year but allowed over 21 just 1 time. Bama averaged 40 but 8 of their opponents scored
More than 21.

Our new mentor shut out Arkansas while Bama beat Arky 42-35. I'm sure you are Smart enough to figure out who it is.

You are referring to Georgia. Given our offensive struggles, we will probably have to win games by Georgia style, but their offense looks much better than us. No. 3 Georgia domianted No. 11 Oregon from start to finish by scoring touchdowns on their first 7 drives. They scored way more (49 points) against Pac-12 runner up Oregon than we scored (31 points) against FCS Sam Houston State.

Lsat year, Georigia outpeformed Alabama against 3 of 4 common opponents.
Arkansas: Georiga 37-0 win at home; Alabama 42-35 win at home
Auburn: Georiga 34-10 win on the road; Alabama 24-22 4-OT win on the road
Florida: Georgia 34-7 in neutral site in Jacksonville, Alabama 31-29 win on the road
Tennesee: Georgia 41-17 win on the raod, Alabama 52-24 win at home

It is still puzzling to me how after five years our offensive minded coach has such an unproven offense.

I'd rather BE the role model than HAVE a role model.

It's because his offense is so complicated that it is hard for our players to learn it but very easy for our opponents to scheme for it.

*Yes, someone actually said this on another thread.

At least Calzada doesn't play QB for Ags anymore. Offense has to be better than last year. It has too. Right?

Nope, it was Jameis.

And don't blame Jimbo. We doggedly pursued and courted and threw money until he broke down and said yes.
