Did anyone drink these? I had two without really understanding what it was. I just did some reading this morning about them because for the first time ever I felt like I was going to pass out at Kyle Field. This has literally never happened to me in 25 years of Aggie Football.

This stuff it not great before a game. Celsius energy drinks are also marketed as being thermogenic, meaning that it helps to increase your heart rate and metabolic rate by raising your body's temperature. Increased body temperature was not a good thing yesterday with it being hot and humid. I literally though I was going to have a heart attach. I just bring this up older folks and FOR PEOPLE WITH KIDS. This may not be something you want to drink before a hot game even if it's a free give away.

"It can also cause side effects such as increase heart rate or irregular heartbeat, insomnia, and anxiety. It is not recommended for people under 18."

People really need to be warned not to drink "energy" drinks?

Thanks for the warning.
However, I've never heard of this drink.
So what value does it have? What's it for?
I think I'll just stick with my energy drink…a Bud Light!

Sometimes if you want a different answer, you have to ask a different question.

Honestly thought it was some kind of sparkling water. I should've paid more attention.

I drink one before surfing as well as on my way to work.

Grape is the best, but wouldn't recommend two back to back.

Energy drink that is a little healthier than red bull and much more healthier than other sugar drinks (monster)

Maybe the warning should be don't drink random things that you know nothing about? Celsius's are fine.

It has 200mg of caffeine and other herbs seen in green tea. If 2-3 cups of coffee gets you wired dont drink it

Haven't seen the Fiji Apple here in Florida.

From the OP, stay away from UPTime as well.

Energy drinks are stupid.

Don't mingle with stupid.

I rather be 2 bourbons deep versus 2 energy shots anytime Aggie football is on. I honestly think my mind would explode if I was hyper-focused on whatever Jimbo is trying to accomplish on offense.

OP you're a brave man.

OP, did you actually drink a caffeinated beverage and not realize those are all things that caffeine does? And then post on it here?

"Single-dose oral administration of 100 mg caffeine increased the resting metabolic rate of both lean and postobese human volunteers by 3-4% (p less than 0.02) over 150 min and improved the defective diet-induced thermogenesis observed in the postobese subjects... Caffeine at commonly consumed doses can have a significant influence on energy balance and may promote thermogenesis in the treatment of obesity."

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2912010/

This post reminds me of the early 2000's hype of soccer mom's thinking their teenagers were doing steroids when they were taking creatine.

There's nothing special about Celsius energy drinks. They're just like every other energy drink from the past decades in that they rely on caffeine for the main effects and any effect from any other ingredient is secondary.

OP- thanks for taking your own time and concern to post this for anyone else that it might affect similarly. Some of these clods that post here are clueless about life, and decorum.

The other thing to consider is that it MIGHT not have been the drink, so you should monitor other things. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir there though. Thanks again.

"Hey! Here's a product all the cool kids are drinking! It's got flashy packaging!

I think I will slam two of them in short order and go attend a warm and humid outdoor event without any consideration for the ingredients or their effects on my body!"
