From potential first round to undrafted and cut. didn't even make a practice squad.

Pats signed Jalen. Big week in Vegas could help his cause. But might be a stretch with their depth at TE.
For what it's worth, Wydermyer was picked up by the Pats.

Do we consider Koda Martin an NFL Aggie even though he transferred after graduating?

Didn't Koda Martin leave as a graduate transfer to play for his dad at Syracuse? You can't disown a guy for that; I'm claiming him as one of us.
These kids are getting bad feedback from agents or someone. Pretty sad they leave while they still have eligibility and fall through the cracks.

I kind of understand Sternberger leaving early. He had a really good year and I'm not sure he would have shown much more by coming back.SilverTongueDevil said:

Jalen on the other hand had a disappointing junior year, too many drops for a "receiving TE," and didn't really dominate as a blocker.

Jalen staying another year probably wouldn't have helped.

I love the hot tales about how slow Jalen is. He was fast enough to smoke Bama last year which makes me think he can play in the NFL. Hope he can find a landing spot and prove everyone wrong.

the Alabama game was just 1 of 12 games --- the NFL scouts also look at the other 11 games.
many A&M players played out of their minds against the Tide especially on offense. They didn't play that way in other weeks

I hope so as well. He gets way too much criticism around here for a player that was generally very productive. The inclination to paint him as resting on his laurels and so on is just speculation and uncalled for.
Both of these guys can play but speed was always going to be the issue with Leon.
