The speed of the A&M offense will be elite seems to be creating positive media opinion.
Driving through the Southeast this week the local shows were down on their program, except for Alabama & GA.
LSU is transfer U.

Wow…a non-trolling comment. Congrats!!!

I think athleticism is the key marker that differentiates 5 star recruits from everyone else because it's measurable. And if you aren't quick and fast in all skill positions including defensive line, linebackers, and secondary, you'll lose to those that field bigger and quicker players. So while not proven in games, I'm glad others think this about us.

But the proof is in the pudding…so to speak,

Our overall speed is significantly increased by simply adding King and Achane as starters. They are so fast they make fast people look not that fast.

It sounds like everyone who has seen the scrimmages is wholly convinced about the speed and talent on defense.

Offensively I think is where the speed needs to be more of a factor this year. Of course Achane is one of the fastest people in the nation, let alone the sport, but I think we're also going to see more separation at the pass catching positions and at QB (let's not forget that Calzada showed some mobility prior to his knee injury).

All of our QBs can beat defenses with their legs, and Stewart/Anias should be matchup-winners. Throw in an athletic TE like Jake Johnson and we'll be much more balanced on offense, which will only help confuse opposing defenses.

Most non Aggie fans think we are a basic 8-4 team and don't think about us at all other than a little side eye that we are probably ranked too high.

Aggie Offense and Defense will both take advantage of speed in 2022.

Prediction: midway through the season we'll be *****ing that we don't have a receiver that can stretch the field

Speed and toughness on defense is the key to championships. Secondary has got to do two things. Cover deep and keep short receivers in front. Go for the interceptions.

I would like to add one more. No pass interference or keep to a minimum. Third and long has killed us.
