Howdy Ags... just a random observation as a friend is at the Dave Ramsey leadership summit this week in Orlando where Saban is a keynote speaker. As told by Jimbo, I would say Saban fits the hypocrite definition as he spoke about this today:

Paraphrased: Do the right thing even if people don't agree with you.

Paraphrased: It's important to not call out people in public, go talk to them directly and don't shame them. Don't confront people in a negative way.

I should have video of the Saban's full speech at a later date. Just wanted to share a couple items he touched on. I used to have respect for Saban, but now not so much.

Saban is a hypocrite whiner. He has been accustomed to getting great recruits and depth. That is the secret to his success not only quality but depth. Now, how did he get those classes. His reputation the 2nd year and Alabama facilities. I do not think so. The Alumni and the Tuscaloosa mafia came through for they had been dry a long time. Also, the old line SEC members and especially Auburn have a policy not to rat on each other. TAMU is still considered an outsider.

Maybe he's comfortable giving everyone else this rule so he can go free of criticism.

As someone who really put his foot in his mouth big time; I'm sure he would like everyone to refrain from public shaming at this time. I'm sure it makes perfect sense to him.

True. There's video of him at a Bama coaching meeting where he belittles the holy ***** out of Jeff Banks because he did something in practice that used an extra 2 or 3 minutes or so than it could have. Really incredible how demeaning and shaming he was. Effing jerk.
