I'm a newb when it comes to buying away game tickets, but I now live near Atlanta and want to catch some of the games within a few hours' drive. Any help you could offer would be appreciated.

Away game tickets are sold through the 12th Man Foundation, right?

When are they released for sale?

How does priority work (doubt I'll have too much trouble with South Carolina, but Bama will be a different story)?

We just bought 3 tickets to the Auburn game on 11/12 through Vividseats.

Auburn is only 90 minutes from Atlanta, and if you've never been, I highly recommend it.

Great campus, good people. You'll have a blast.

Thanks. Would love to hit Auburn this year, but my sister is getting married that weekend. Why people keep getting married during football season is beyond me.

Specifically, I'll be looking for tickets in the A&M section. I've looked (specifically at the USC game) at ticket reseller websites, and I did not see any available in the visitor's section, so my assumption is they've not yet been released for sale?

Couldn't tell you.

Our tickets are on the 45 yard line, visitor side.

Got them for about $130 each.

USC just sells through Ticketmaster for single game ticket distribution. i have been to their stadium a few times and sat in different spots. It is not a hostile environment. We got better seats than the visitors' section and preferred that. No need to get reseller or scalped tickets in my experience.

Just checked, their tickets are out there.

Also check the ticket exchange forum on Texags. Otherwise go to each school's website and see how the distribute tickets. You may be able to buy directly.

If you want to sit with fellow Ags in the visitor allotment ( really bad seats ) The ticket exchange on TexAgs is the way to go. TMF usually does not forward visitor tickets until a couple weeks before the game.

Just wait until tickets are released. Peoples' travel plans change, you'll be able to pickup seats in the A&M section at face through the ticket exchange. No need to panic. Just remember they give us pretty crappy seats but you'll be among friends

Is USC worth the trip? I wanna go to Bama but those prices are through the roof. Was considering going to Columbia instead.

USC is not a marquee destination in the SEC and they lack the tradition and rabid fans of some of the others.

But Columbia is a nice town, and Midnight Yell on the steps of the Capitol is very memorable.

If you can stay a few days in nearby Charleston, all the better.

I go mainly because it is closest SEC destination from my house in Northern Va and it is an easy ticket-unlike most other SEC stadiums. There may be more fan excitement around their team this year.

Greenville is nice, too.
