Not official NIL does not allow for that. You can have either the player name or a&m logo but not both.

that law does not disallow it, read it again. It disallows only if A&M has a contract that conflicts or we provide compensation for athletic performance (which is already against NIL).

In my opinion, and at my age (mid 30's), the only reason to have jerseys (with specific names on them) is for your kids or to get the jersey autographed and frame it then hang it in the office or an area of the house that your wife will allow it.

I would definitely like for that to happen though since I have been collecting Aggie gear for a while now and absolutely HATE buying signed jerseys with no "Texas A&M" on the front of it.

B has four independent clauses that prohibit behavior three of which start with "in exchange". The second of the four is entirely composed of "by the institution;" which prevents the university paying the compensation. The complete thought for the THIRD one is:

"2. A student athlete participating in an intercollegiate athletic program at an institution to which this section applies:
shall, before entering into the contract, disclose to the institution, in the manner prescribed by the institution, any proposed contract the student athlete may sign for use of the student athlete's name, image, or likeness;
may not enter into a contract for the use of the student athlete's name, image, or likeness if:

(B) the compensation for the use of the student athlete's name, image, or likeness is provided:

in exchange for property owned by the institution or for providing an endorsement while using intellectual property or other property owned by the institution;"

Feel free to explain how the intellectual property of the University including trademarks it clearly has registered with the USPTO can be used by the student athlete for self-promotion without violating that clause?

Some people might just want a more direct avenue to buy jerseys/autographs to support their favorite players not that as an adult they want to wear said jersey.

I've had success with DHGate seller vip_sport.

They are knock offs but I couldn't find any legit supplier that would make a jersey with a custom nameplate "BIG BALLS MCGEE".

It takes about 30 days for an order to be delivered.
