We are currently the favorite but who knows with how crowded the DL room is now, was considered one of the top prospects for 2023. Dad played OL for OU and coached for A&M for a bit.

Interesting the kid has already played 4 years of high school ball since he played varsity in 8th grade, didn't know that was a thing

Deion is one rich dude....we have thousands....really how many d line can we take/appease with playing time....not like we signed a bunch of scrubs last year....jimbos best recruiting job may be keeping them all here until soph year

DL is a lot different from OL. OL only 5 play. DL should have 8 guys who play a lot. Guys not in that top 8 will likely leave, but I am confident we'll keep the top guys.

A few guys will end up not as good as advertised and they won't get to play and transfer out. What an excellent problem to have.

Would love a 5 star OT and LB. Otherwise, this class was perfection.

Several of the DL we signed are physical freaks so they should be able to contribute a little. Combine that with the guys that are already here we are looking good the next few years. Rotating players out helps a ton, especially against a mobile QB.

It would have been nice to get a true OT, Dewberry looks like a Green clone where he can play anywhere but will likely be an NFL guard. With that being said if he is anywhere nearly as good as Green we are in good shape. Next year we need to make sure to get at least one highly ranked OT.

After recruiting 3 safeties and then having Mathews sign with us knowing Perkins was going to LSU I think Mathews may spin down to LB. He has the frame and aggressiveness to do it, and would give us our third LB for this class. He is already bigger than Ish Harris
