I don't think it's much that Republicans are actively doing anything to curry favor...the Democrats are just that good at embarrassing themselves when they actually have to grab the wheel and drive.

I would like to think people are starting to realize the Democrats are all about control. Covid, non-stop racial discrimination, forced green programs and the $600 thing are all blatant power grabs that are easy to see through unless you just don't want to look. I've said for years the Republicans are too stupid to be as evil as the Democrats but at this point the best thing the Reps can do is stay out of the way which they appear content to do.

Democrat rule is hitting people hard in the pocketbook every day when they fill up their car or buy food at the store or have to go to three stores to find what they need because of shortages.. That'll be one way to cause the shift in the poll numbers.

The gop will f this gifthorse of an admin up and run the same stable of losers that never know how to take the reins and govern from the front.

This level of flipping didn't happen in 2010, there was a significant narrowing, but I don't think a flip ever happened ahead of the 2010 elections. The GOP gained 7 in the Senate and 63 in the House that year.

If the GOP has reached 1995 levels coming off their surprise massacre of 1994. It's going to be a long night for the Democrats. Media will likely build it up this way for the next several months in hopes that it doesn't turn out as bad as they project in order to make it seem like the Democrats were victorious in not losing more seats than projected.

The dems feel pretty good about their cheating machine.
