Are online sports books legal in texas?

I tried to set up a draft king account and it said I was in a location (state) that didn't allow deposits. Conflicting info after a quick bing.com search.

I have never done online betting personally but I would be surprised if it was illegal to do it with as many betting advertisements and guest segments on all the sports radio stations

It's now legal federally, but I believe states can be more restrictive. I have no idea what Texas law is

No, it is technically not legal in Texas. I'm confident that will change in the next few years. I'd love to be able to use BetMGM or Barstool Sportsbook

Barstool Sportsbook will let you register, deposit, and withdraw if you're not in a state they support, so I suppose you could use a VPN...

Don't use MyBookie. Lots of nightmares about people never being able to take their money out.

I've never had an issue with Bovada. Been using them for years. That's what I would recommend.

Taking money out is no longer an issue with bitcoin. Only issue before is that it took forever to receive a check.
