Anyone know of a way to watch the JimboCast again? I had no idea that was going on and really bummed I missed it.

Go to Watch ESPN. Look at Replay tab.

Look under Football for Monday, January 10th. Listed as Coaches Film Room

I couldn't keep up.

Too many people talking at once. Found it annoying. Would have rather just listened to jimbo and 1 other coach.

It was just him and Terry Price drinking coors light and eating brisket for 4 hours.

Johnny Manziel appeared for a few minutes and revealed he is the starter for the Houston Gamblers. That was pretty neat.

I agree with vegan. The idea is great but they need a moderator to ask questions when they get deep into their own jargon. Also would've been nice to have a rotation with a different position coaches go through break down a play or a player

I thought it was awesome. Yes, it took a little getting used to it (for me about 1 quarter). The second half they became much more comfortable with it too. Loved it, watched all the way through. Very enjoyable way to watch a big game where I had very little rooting interest. Not sure how it played to non-Aggie fans, though. Would be curious about how non-Aggies viewed it. Santucci, Coley, Elijah, were the three biggest talkers outside of Jimbo.

It's a cool idea but it needs some tweaks. There were many times when there would be several conversations happening at once, it was impossible to hear anything. They need someone driving the conversation and giving it structure.

A few thoughts. I love me some Texas A&M Football and always will. But I'm not sure how Jimbo was chosen for this. I can't listen to him talk about much of anything.

It was like listening to my military friends talk about stuff using acronyms and slang. Painful.

Second, Sumlin and his staff were far better at this than Jimbo. They said the same thing that Jimbo did, just in English.

But they were bad at everything else, so there's that.

It was hard to watch the actual game as well. They had two different shots of the game playing, one shot was 2-3 seconds behind the other shot. It was very distracting and the shots were also a little small for viewing.

To each his own, but dang we have different views on this stuff. Jimbo was chosen because he's one of the best and most respected coaches in CFB, coaches in the same conference as both of the teams playing, is in the spotlight for the #1 recruiting class, and beat one of the teams in the best CFB game all year.

I can listen to Jimbo all day long. He gets in 10 sentences in the time Kevin Sumlin can blink, say, "uhhhhm" and blink again. I had a roommate for a couple of years who goes all out when learning anything, so to talk football with him, I guess I learned a little bit of that football slang so that might have made it easier for me to listen to.

They would say a lot of the same stuff, but I guess it just means more to me when it comes from Jimbo because I trust him more to see it, say tit, AND gameplan for it.

Yea I'm a huge Jimbo fan but they did a poor job of producing this show. Dusty Dvoracek was the host and basically disappeared then popped up in the hall to talk to guys who seemed like they were taking bathroom breaks. There were what seemed like fifteen coaches in the room who alternated between saying nothing most of the time to talking all at the same time. The perfect cap to the broadcast was when Jimbo was reflecting about our team making it next year at the end of the game the right ends coach was going over his favorite milk shake recipe.

It would be a better set up with just the HC, OC and DC. Of course Durkin isn't available yet. Also not sure Dickey would be a great choice. I think he said 12 words all night last night. But something like Jimbo, Coley and Santucci would've probably worked.

Nationally it was a good look for the A&M program, facilities and staff.

None of this makes sense. Jimbo talking about football is about the best thing about Aggie Football

Watched it for the first half and it was bad. Only 25% of the screen was showing the live game. That alone is a failure of epic proportions. Add in constant mumbled speech by several people at any given moment and it was awful. Would've watched for 5 seconds if I wasn't an A&M fan.

Sooooo much better than the regular broadcast, IMO. I preferred the the split with 3 coach screens stacked on the right and the one game screen on the left. They need to normalize the microphones a bit better.

I did not watch much because I can find split-screen views distracting. One channel had split-screen with the game and sideline. I quickly channels.

It needed to be more controlled and with less coaches.

I wonder how it played to prospective recruits and their parents (if any watched) ?

I would have preferred that they filled the screen with the game and used silhouettes of the coaches la Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I liked it. You got the feel you were watching the game with them, and he actually had some really interesting in-game analysis.

I get that it's not for everyone though. Would have liked a bit more structure and more interaction from other coaches. It definitely needed some tweaks, but it was a cool way to see the gamew and Texas A&M / Jimbo on TV for 4+ hours!

My biggest takeaway is I don't know nearly as much about football as I thought I did, because 75% of the crap they were saying went over my head.

Was the only assistant to beat Saben? (Other than now Smart).

It wasn't very good. I think they were hoping it would be more like Monday Night Manning. It wasn't.

It definitely had some flaws, but I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed it, could use a better structure I agree. But I liked it overall.
