Like really it's like the NBA vs the G-League in a championship game.

Solid point. Let's bulk up to 32 teams and call it a day.

Shouldn't this thread title read: "Why do we even follow teams outside of the SECCG?
Cuz the rest of the SEC is 1-5.

...everything non-SEC is dead. At that point, it can ditch this playoff, create some internal sec tournament, and start crowning the winner the national champion.

Ohio St could have given Georgia a game. They have the WR's to be a problem. That was the only other team with enough firepower to threaten Bama or GA in a CFB game.

Except they lost to the team that Georgia smoked last night.

And? It is hard to beat a team 10+ years straight. Michigan was due and the stars aligned that day. As recent years and recruiting classes have shown Obio St beats Michigan 8-9 times out of 10. Bama's best WR had to transfer from Ohio St to get snaps. I am mot saying Ohio St would have won, but they have the firepower on offense to put points on Georgia and subsequently pressure on Georgia's mediocre QB.

And btw, I think Utah beats the Buckeyes today. Just more motivated, but it doesn't change the fact that on paper Ohio St is the 3rd most talented team in the country and is a threat to Bama/Georgia on any given day.
