We should be able to do that every year.

We should be signing the top 10 or 12 out of 20.
A&M needs to win big the next couple of years and lock the state down.

The remarkable thing is that Texas is going to get 5. That means 75% of the top 20 are staying in state. That's unheard of in today's recruiting. The other other talent-rich state that has kept kids like that is Louisiana. Also the programs that managed to pull kids OOS are Ohio St. (2), Clemson (1), Georgia (1), Alabama (1).

We also took:

The number one players from Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Arizona

Three of the top ten from Georgia

The number two player from Florida and number five from Louisiana.

And we're in the mix for number 1 from Florida and 3 from Louisiana.


A class like this means you're getting great players from everywhere. This isn't smoke and mirrors with half a dozen highly rated wide receivers, a couple athletic grade risks on defense, and a bunch of three stars. It's deep, diverse, and talented.

Compare that to the state of Tennessee. I thought Tennessee had a respectable year this year yet they signed only 1 of their states top 20 talent. I think he was #14 on the list……ouch.

Of the top recruits we've ever signed in our history (since the 90s at least), Jimbo has signed over half of them.

So far we have signed 20% of the top 20 players in the nation. There were times in the past where we couldn't even sign 20% of the top 20 in TX.

Awww, yeah! I'm glad Jimbo's taking his time with the DC. No need to rush - just need to make sure we get the right guy.

We signed my national top 100 kids than the Big12, ACC, or Pac12 did as an entire conference

Basically, if the big 12 fielded an all star team with 2022 kids it wouldn't be near as talented as Texas A&M.
