He's got that 247 rating of 1.00 which fans believe and will expect Tom Brady v 2.0
Their OLine will be a work in progress. While they do have some good recruits, they won't be ready to perform like they will after a couple of years of coaching, reps, and lifting.
Baylor and Ok State defenses will most likely give him nightmares. Aranda has better players and is a better coach than Sark. Baylor will circle the date.
He seems to have a Hollywood streak in him. Wouldn't surprise me to see a multicolored mullet to play up to the fan base by next September.
Brian Bosworth was good, was on a great defense, and got away with the "look at me" antics that drove opponents crazy. Ewers would probably be better served keeping his mouth shut, blending in, and working his butt off.
Of course he won't, the fans will have unreasonable expectations, and the futility will be fun to watch.

Well, Weigman hasn't thrown a collegiate pass either so not sure that helps whatever justification you're attempting. And Johnson & Weigman have as much knowledge of Coach Fisher's system as Ewers does of Coach Sarkisian's system.
