Max Johnson.

Ewers is going to be a disaster.

We need someone who can be a game manager with limited mistakes. Someone who can read SEC Defenses and adjust.

Ewers might help the Sips beat Kansas... they may even beat WV next year. But, let's not kid ourselves that he won't get the Rattler treatment. That is... he comes in all flashy with his NIL deals and fails to get his OLine to support him.

Also, Ewers is likely going to cause friction with the other QBs on the roster. Max... probably not.

Starting QB for one of the HS here in the Indy area does have the first name Maximus. Lost in the 6A finals to a team whose QB signed with Tennessee and a DL that signed with Ohio St.

Ide much rather tell them about how a former LSU QB, that needed a miracle 4th quarter TD to beat us, got into our program and curb stomped the swamp kittens 59-0 the following year.
