Don't want to be the Debbie downer of a fantastic day, but what is the latest on him signing?

Did he have a ceremony planned today? If so, that would indicate something is up.

Am I jumping to conclusions to suspect there may be an issue/second thoughts?

The class will remain outstanding even without him, but he is obviously someone we want. Appreciate any actual insight someone can share.

FYI - I read on another thread that Texas didn't have any room (1 spot saved for one player) but with the transfer rules allowing for expanded signings this year I would think they could find a way to make room for him.

He's just slow dancing for maximum publicity and personal impact. He's one of those that is going to push our final ranking number through the ceiling. As Jimbo noted..."We ain't done yet!"

Another thread stated EE do not have to have an LOI , if they enroll and attend classes obviously they are coming here. Hypothetically ( according to a different thread ) a recruit could choose to not sign in the early signing window; announce at the UA game ; enroll & start class in January then wrap up his paperwork at the traditional date in February

He's already included in our current ranking numbers because he's considered a verbal commit. Just waiting on the LOI at this point.

Adding somebody not counted as a commit yet like a Denver Harris or Shemar Stewart on the other hand is what would further boost our ranking numbers.

Look how Evan Stewart committed, out of the blue on a random Monday night with some obscure initially difficult to figure out tweet that caught all the recruiting analysts off guard.

We have missed out on the waddle type difference makers lately and last year bama took another stud WR that we almost got as well. Just haven't quite been able to land those guys, second place it seems. Hopefully that changes this year.

It already has changed. We have the #1 class signed.

The remaining targets will drive this class to the #1 class of all time . . . for college football.

It depends if he wants to win championships in the SEC or lose quietly to Kansas in the Big 12.
