Some of us can remember the hype of signing 5 STAR all world TE Martellus Bennett in 2005. His signing was massive and we were all stoked about it. But with all due respect to the 2005 class it was Martellus, Jorvorskie Lane..... and a bunch of guys.

Fast forward to today and we got 5 star TE Jake Johnson... and then a bunch of other 5 and 4 star nationally ranked beasts!

Amazing.

I remember when a player like Goodson committing to us was considered game changing.

Michael Bennett turned out to be the steal of that signing class.

Looking at that 2005 class brings me back to the days of inputting the names of the players into EA NCAA football, lol. So true though, the quality of guys that are signing that are afterthoughts to this class would be the highlight of the class 10-15 years ago. Insanity.

Jake is a 4*, not a 5*. He is 83 in the country on the composite. But No 1 TE.

This was my favorite thing to do along with making a team and inputting my HS team's names

Yes. He was on the team for a bit, I think. Pretty sure we won him over on his OV during a basketball game in January. That's when home basketball games were actually fun.
