Rhule would probably be a great hire, but this "source" just seems sketchy. Bonkers if it ends up being true.
Might as well keep it going. This guy said it will be announced this afternoon. Stranger things have certainly happened. The Joe Brady stuff is a big tip off too. That guy is going to be a hot commodity in the NFL after this season.

So a guy that wants to be in the NFL has an NFL HC job and is going to take a college job for less $$..... yeah, seems legit. That applies to both Rhule and Brady BTW.
That would be an upgrade. He is a great coach.

HOWEVER, let me say this, I looked it up and he NEVER had a win against a ranked team at Baylor. Not a single one. That's hard to believe.
Also, the Cowboys played the Panthers this year, and I know it's one game, but that team did not look good. I think he could see the writing on the wall at Carolina and found an exit quick.
He will most likely be good at OU, but I think some shine is off that star. I also don't think he's a homerun hire from a recruiting standpoint and OU is about to get tougher to recruit to once it's in the SEC.
