Can someone explain our NIL deals?

It seems a LOT of our players have been getting deals compared to other programs. Either that or I haven't been paying attention to other schools athletes and NIL. I mean, the Durex and demas deal feels lucrative.

My question is, how exactly do they work? How are our players getting so much exposure? Is there something with having an asset like Mays business school helping them?

not complaining, but something just feels different with the advantage we have there. Especially with recruiting momentum lately.

I dont pay much attention to social media these days, so any explanation or discussion around what NIL looks like for us and other schools would be awesome

Do you follow the same number of non-A&M players as A&M players on social media? Are you seeing ads without following any players?

Honestly, I still haven't seen a single NIL advertisement from any player. Haven't head anything on the radio, haven't seen a TV ad, haven't seen an internet ad. Only thing I've seen are people talking about the deals on Texags. I know I'm not the target demographic, but from my perspective, it seems like the deals almost don't even exist at all.

I expected to see ads featuring players during College Gameday and the local news broadcast, and ads in Kyle Field during games, or even those annoying ads at the bottom of websites that show you everything you've looked at buying in the last month.

If some aggie doctor wants to give an athlete $10k to play at a&m and smile for the camera, what's it to you?

This is how the free market is done.

Is it their fault you have an 8" vertical and run a 6.8 40?

They get exposure now because pretty much all players have been signed to marketing contracts by sports agencies. It's not just 5-10k here and there but new cars, big $s and parents taken care of. Just news times for college sports, not just football.

You need to listen to sports radio. Local sports radio hosts always know where you should go for elective surgeries, hot wings, and boner pills.
