Just listened to Jimbo post game presser.

Said the TE needed to create more space in that 3rd and 2 call. But seriously…how did this make sense at all?

If they brought pressure, I could see us abandoning the run but why can't we have a route beyond the 1st down marker. Even a toss to Achane would've at least burned clock…

Also what's with the 3 man rush on LSU's final drive? We got no pressure compared to us rushing 4.

Yeah, that was a flat out bad call.

You don't roll an immobile, slow, right handed QB to his left to throw against his body to the short side of the field.

And you certainly don't have the primary route runner run a route short of the sticks on third down.

Bad, bad play calling.

Ironically enough we brought the house and went cover 0 on the touchdown play.

Yep. Instead we got a 1 yard roll out to the TE to the sideline to stop the clock…needing 2 for the 1st.

What's worse is Jimbo misses opportunities to advocate for the team because he is too busy having to be the OC... Had he not been yelling at Calzada about the 3rd and 2 play he would have been able to see the clear special teams strip/fumble that the refs screwed us out of or thought hey maybe call a timeout before the most crucial 4th and long of the game to settle the defense down and get in the best play.

LSU did not prove they could stop Achane after that drive where he accounted for 60 yds. He just abandoned it on his own. He needs someone who is in his ear telling him not to move away from what works before it is proven by the opponent's D

Who will break to him that he is not the offensive guru as claimed? Obviously if there is anyone in the booth recommending something did he use it?

My God.

Please educate yourself on the rules of the game before saying this stuff. Forward progress is not a reviewable call. The timeout on 4th & long is debatable as is would give them time to get their stuff together as well.

Even Kiffin lets Libby call the plays. We need to let Dickey actually be OC and Jimbo concentrate on game management and chewing people out for not executing.
