There was a thread ~3 weeks ago with people freaking out about our defense, including bringing up that were 11th or so in the SEC and would be 6th in the Big 12 at that time, etc etc. Let's look at some updates:

Yeah, facing an offense who suited up a coach at QB who was a former DII backup, doesn't hurt either.

Wrecking crew is coming back for these next few games. Expect our defense raning to go way up!

Yeah, but then putting in the 3rd stringers and having them give up 200 yards in the fourth quarter didn't help either.

Of course it doesn't. But what it also does it help balance out data with more to review when a bunch on this board were crying and citing the stats of teams who up to that point had only played the likes of Missouri St, Kansas, TX Southern, TX State, UNLV, Northern Iowa, and the offensive juggernaut that is Iowa.

defense and running the football.

if we can't run the ball with success then we probably won't beat auburn and ole miss, but I think we will be able to run it and calzada will continue to improve and we will win all 4 of those games.

defensive rankings are going to look even better tomorrow morning
