Don't worry, Mississippi State is not going to run the tableMy Name Is Judge said:fla_agfan said:SEATAC Aggie said:ironmanag said:

Why?
We need a msst loss
If Mississippi State can finish the season with a decent resume then it doesn't make our loss at home to them look as bad in the eyes of the committee. That's why I was pulling for the Bulldogs at least. My Name Is Judge said:
Yea I'm not worried
Bama losing & us running table are tall orders too.
I'm just curious about rooting msst over kentucky strategy…. Is this about bowl seeding ?
It means that Saban is forced to retire.HoustonAg2106 said:If Mississippi State can finish the season with a decent resume then it doesn't make our loss at home to them look as bad in the eyes of the committee. That's why I was pulling for the Bulldogs at least. My Name Is Judge said:

In a hypothetical world...does anyone know what happens if A&M, Alabama, and Miss St all finish with 2 SEC losses?
Mississippi State has tough road games at Arkansas next week and Auburn the week after. They might be able to upset Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl becasue they will have home field advantage. I think Mississippi State will finish 6-6 or 7-5 depending on the Egg Bowl.HoustonAg2106 said:If Mississippi State can finish the season with a decent resume then it doesn't make our loss at home to them look as bad in the eyes of the committee. Yeah, but when you take into account all the mental gymnastics the socialists will do to distribute the wealth we will get left out again.

We needed a Kentucky loss more. Kentucky has patsies the rest of the way and would have ended up in a NY6 bowl had they won. State will run into another loss in the west so that's not an issue. They have more losses coming Kentucky doesn't.
Yes, we need a State loss but in the event that Bama runs the table, which is likely, we need to solidify a third place SEC finish should we win out and Bama does too.

Yes. Had UK won out they probably would've gotten a NY6 over us assuming we win out.
