If we were to swap QBs - is Bama still favored?

The O-line issues amplify the QB issues, but I still think Bama is favored, but maybe only by a couple points.

If we switched all season long, what would be the records coming in. I think A&M is undefeated and Bama has at least one loss.

I think we are really that close, but our back up QB position is the difference. I think the more time Jimbo is with our program, the closer we will get.

I don't think the line is awful, they aren't where tgry need to be but I've seen improvement: run blocking was noticeably better vs miss st than Arkansas

If you rewatch the Calzada safety you will see 6 unable to block 4 for less than a second, and one of our lineman get thrown backwards 5 yards. The OLine is horrible.

You are correct, sir. The right side of the line, even with Fatheree, is very weak.

I'd seriously consider rolling Calzada out on every passing play.

A wounded animal can be pitiful, too. I have to believe that Bost and Stowers are not better or Jimbo would be playing them.

The O-Line is a bigger problem than QB. That will become clear when our RBs and QB collectively have less than 100 yards rushing today.

We need to try to move the pocket at times.

How far are we allowed to move the pocket?

To answer the OP. Maybe. It's that bad right now.

Only need 3 in the front to stop our line and our passing game isn't that good. That's the blueprint to whipping our ass this year.

I know there is zero chance of happening. But my day dreams consist of Jimbo keeping it a secret that he is playing King this week but wants to keep them off guard. While I don't think it will make any difference at all, but we need to reach in whatever direction that gives us a slight chance to win. Good luck today Haynes!

The offense isn't running over anyone. The oline loses 5 vs 3 matchups. Without a running threat, opponents drop 8 into coverage. Its damn hard to be consistent when its 5 vs 8.

Why not just swap everything. Coaches , players , all of it. Then we'd be sitting pretty. Lol.
