It's time for 12thMan to dump StubHub. Customer service is horrible. Getting someone on the phone
is next to impossible. I've tried for the past three hours. Finally someone that I could hardly understand
answered only to be followed by silence and then a disconnect. The number is 1 (866) 788-2482. Give it a
ring if you doubt me. How does 12thMan justify staying with StubHub. There has to be a better alternative.
Question: Why can't 12thMan create a buy-sell-donate site and charge a fee to users?

Idk man I've never have had a issue with stubhub always works for me and I use it frequently for lots of events …..

Yeah, getting them on the phone is a nightmare. I had an issue with Ryder Cup tickets and waited about 3 hours to get an agent - but he did help me. Later, I had to call about something else and was helped in less than an hour. The last agent said they're hiring more agents, so it looks like they're trying to get better.

Also, I got a complete refund of tickets plus fees when the tickets I ordered didn't get delivered in time for the event - which is the least they could have done.

Been a good while since I've used StubHub (with no problems), but live customer service across the board has gotten worse in the last year and a half. You're usually talking to someone who is working from home, and it's taking them just as long to call or message someone else to get assistance, probably in a different time zone. They don't have the ability to turn around and ask a supervisor or quickly transfer.

Flashseats worked. It was easy and awesome.

They probably didn't pay as much to the overlords so screw you Aggies, we need more money. (12thMan speaking since Flash Seats did their job well)

Flashseats was awesome. It didn't last because it was too convenient and user friendly to sell and transfer tickets. Texas A&M didn't want that, so they switched to stubhub.

Exactly. With stubhub TMF gets a cut of the secondary market as well. It's all about squeezing every dime they can without any regard to the end user.

StubHub is the worst.
I had tickets to the motorcycle race in Austin this weekend that I bought on StubHub. Yesterday evening I get an email saying sorry your tickets could not be delivered and we have canceled your order. Now prices are quite a bit higher, and the hold time to talk to someone is over 3 hours.

**** them. I will go out of my way to not use them in the future.

StubHub, like many companies these days, make it nearly impossible to speak to a person and get any help. TicketMaster is just as bad. It is infuriating. E-mails, chats, texts, etc. can go on for weeks when a simple phone call with a live person could answer questions or fix a problem much quicker. Hell even most of the chats now are no longer with a person but a chat-bot that is absolutely useless. Obviously that is all about lowering expenses by having less employees.

Having said that, I don't blame the TMF for it, and there are other avenues to buy and sell tickets, TexAgs ticket exchange is great. I have 2 little boys now and only go to 1 or 2 home games a year (and a roady). I sell almost ALL of my tickets and parking passes on TexAgs and it has been great.

As for the TMF and StubHub, the TMF is not in the business of reselling tickets and they don't have the time, $, resources, staff to develop and host a ticket exchange, so they have defaulted to using StubHub. There is nothing wrong with that, despite any issues with StubHub. Alabama does the same thing, so does Tx Tech even though for all their games you can walk up and buy a ticket.

I had a problem with stubhub when I listed my New Mexico tics. They ended up in limbo and I could not lower the price so they never sold. Tried to call them and 3 hr wait. 12th man no call wait but they really are stuck when it comes to stubhub issues. I did post 2/4 of my MSU tics cause I only need two and that worked out ok.

I don't blame the TMF for StubHub's issues. I blame the TMF for selecting StubHub over Flashseats, which IMO did a superior job.

I'm sure it was about the $$$$. TMF $$$$, not lolpoor's money.

I highly suggest the 12th man use Humbl ticketing instead. With humbl ticketing one of two things will occur from its inception, both of which are benefits to its customers and Aggieland as a whole.

One, cheaper fees for ticket sales and re-sales. No longer will customers be forced to pay exorbitant fees to third parties for doing extremely little and in most cases as many tickets are digital, nothing at all.

Two, and the most important of all, tickets will become NFTs and all transactions be stored on the blockchain. The beauty of this approach is that the 12th man will now be able to profit on all sales of tickets on the secondary market. Guided by a pre-determined percentage, no longer will the 12thman or any other business entity using Humbl ticketing be removed from the secondary market. This will both ensure more money coming back to the originator as intended as well as cheaper fees for resale.

It is time for the 12th man and Aggieland as a whole to show again their leadership and ingenuity as a better engineered product is available to them. Let us be pioneers as we always are in everything we do in life.

Ticketmaster is trash also.

I sold Texans tickets last week through them and they have now disappeared from my sold items and I haven't been paid. It's also impossible to get ahold of anyone and they don't make any customer service emails available.

Flash Seats. I loved being able to bid, to sell tickets at the last minute, no fees, real time information on supply/demand. Decent app. A great benefit to season ticket holders down to fans who could only afford one game a year, ended by greed.

A few months into the pandemic they laid off 2/3 of their US employees because live events essentially went to zero. Could very well be a bankruptcy/reorganization on the horizon. Just giving a reason for crappy customer service.

Again, I'm posting re lousy service by StubHub and only StubHub. Again, call 1-(866) 788-2482.if you doubt me. Yes, 12th Man is in some respects at fault for doing business with this dud. Still trying to get through. 12th Man could issue an ultimatum--"Fix it or you lose the 12th Man account." The message while holding says that StubHub is short-staffed and working on it. Why so short-staffed? Flash Seats was far superior!

I don't doubt that.

But StubHub sucked even before then.

Most older travel related companies have had major customer service issues since last summer because of covid. I'm in travel and we just now were able to get our staff near normal. It's been some fun 3am wake ups for a few months.

Agree with most, Flashseats is a far superior product. The switch clearly had nothing to do with customers in mind.
