I guess I wasn't paying attention. I hope he's okay. I've found it odd that he's been an on-field reporter for the last coupla years. I always thought that was more of an entry level position.

I suspect he has some kind of illness, or maybe just really bad allergies. But it's been that way for years.

For real. I suspect he has some kind of recurring condition. There have been times when people swore he was drunk on air. But it could be anything. I know when I have bad allergy episodes, my face can puff up and the congestion affects my hearing and speech. Who knows.

I've always liked McShay, I hope everything is okay. From what I heard it sounds more serious than just being sick.

Seems like a good guy. Hope everything is ok.

It is tough to walk away from what you love for health problems what ever they may be. So many of us take our health for granted. Hope he is back to providing great football insight in the near future.

You never know what's going on in someone's personal life. McShay has always struck me as professional and prepared to do his job. He doesn't look right, something is off. I don't think he's just been putting on the pounds for no reason. Could be substance abuse, he could be on steroids for something chronic and he's bloated, etc. He could be depressed about something and he's eating/drinking everything in sight to cope. It doesn't matter, sounds like the guy needs help and he's going to get it. I hope he gets through whatever it is he's battling.

Hope he is okay.

Been around too much cancer the last 15 years. That looks like a man using massive amounts of steroids. It will cause that kind of facial puffiness.

I can't imagine having millions of people watching and commenting when you're going through a rough patch. One little misstep or mis-speak gets the gossip going.

I'm feel bad for McShay; seems like a good guy. But why does it take viewers expressing concern for him/ESPN to decide he needs to step aside? It never should have gotten to that point.
