Call it envy, payback, or just self preservation- but i can easily understand a short-sighted mentality of "let's water down the new kid's playing field" and make him share the recruiting wealth.

At very least, they aint shedding any tears over us.

The lesser schools like UK are literally are accepting they will never win a conference title for a few more million dollars a year.

Ask Northwestern how much better they are recruiting with their spaceship vs TOSU who is winning championships

I don't think that is the driver, but I think they recognize the value of destabilization.

I agree it's not the driver, but i do believe it helps explain why theyre not falling on their sword to preserve the honor of that understanding.
