Why would GA, FL, SC, KY break gentlemen's agreement re one-team states?
Maybe because they've seen A&M' s
impressive steady climb up the
national ladder; the #1 profitable school in country now ready to challenge Bama for SEC supremacy after an unvhecked huge competitive advantage over OU and in-state rivals.
Call it envy, payback, or just self preservation- but i can easily understand a short-sighted mentality of "let's water down the new kid's playing field" and make him share the recruiting wealth.
At very least, they aint shedding any tears over us.
