The rest of the BIg 12 schools will take big cuts.
The tiny programs they played in non conference may go broke.
The other sports at these schools budget cuts
It will snowball or better landslide womens sports.
ESPN made college sports great and they are ruining it.

Nothing is permanent. There's a lot of hubris in sports today and a lot of dissatisfied fans. Businesses get complacent and shortsighted, that's nothing new.

The coming fallout is going to be painful to alot of smaller power 5 schools. Really only about 32 programs should be power 5.

This could even be what turns college and higher education as a whole upside down. Many, many of the programs rely on football to bring in money. If student loans also get tightened up, many of these colleges will be losing money hand over fist with no options left. I am very glad my future is not based in Academia.
