They are watching how we respond. We need to create the most gigantic crapstorm if there is cause. The old A&M would just take their lumps. Even if we lose, we can't take this lying down.

I hope it doesn't happen but if it does we will just proceed anyway. We can beat their ass on the field and oppose every attempt they make to get disproportionate control over the conference. I think we will have lots of allies with regard to the latter. The SEC is not the amalgamation of weaklings that the SWC and Big 12 were.

True. But we need to send a message. When you fight a bully it's not about winning or losing. It's about them knowing you'll stand up to them.

Not sure how much the board has changed since 2011 but if a majority is there, I pray they come up with something.

I think the path moving forward is to just tell the other schools, "ok, we see how it is."

Unfortunately, I think this is where we need to start working with the sips, to an extent. We need to start proposing unequal Big 12/Texas style revenue sharing. The conference is going to be divided into 8 heavyweights vs 8 lightweights. A&M will survive, since we know how to deal with sips more than anyone. Arkansas, Mizzou, Vandy, Ole Miss, MSU, SCar, Kentucky, and Tennessee betrayed us. It's time we start going after their TV revenue shares and help them along into their metamorphosis into the Little 8 v2.0.

They have awoken a sleeping giant. It's open season now.
