Just saw this on Fox News App.
No s***. Texas is not all that anymore. They are floundering as a result of their own choices. And for some dumb reason, ESPN is willing take even more losses in $$$$$ to prop them up and rescue them from their own hubris driven mistakes.Quote:
The Aggies famously bucked big brother Texas almost a decade ago to join the SEC when the Longhorns were vying for bigger television deals. Now that A&M is flourishing and Texas is floundering, little brother has grown up and doesn't see any reason for the Longhorns to get an invitation to the table.
Social Justice Warriors now love them some "rednecks" stuck out in "hicksville" conference. Leaving Texas for the SEC is now socially acceptable for Texas.aggiehawg said:No s***. Reading surlyhorns for the first time in a looong time yesterday and today the contrast is stark. A few days ago it was all anti-SEC, yay Big XII.
Now? They are giddy about joining the conference they hate with a burning fire, the SEC and dominating it until the end of time. (And they don't mean on the field. They know they suck there.)
You forgot the dildo crowd.redjalapeno-87 said:Social Justice Warriors now love them some "rednecks" stuck out in "hicksville" conference. I mean i have been reading sip boards since realignment started in 2010. Fell off from reading their boards the last couple of years except when they were on firing a HC and hiring yet another one. But the amount of hatred for the SEC predates our joining the league.
On the OR board there's a long running thread about Randolph Duke, a ShaggyBevo now surlyhorns poster about how horrible not only A&M is but the SEC as well.
But now, very suddenly, all of those posters are creaming their pants over being in the SEC, the conference they hated three days ago.
Sip hypocrisy knows no bounds. Their realignment thread has lasted for eleven years. Eleven years! One thread. Two platforms. And they are now high-fiving each other over dragging their sorry asses to follow us. Because we are smarter and not as cowardly as they were in 2011 and the years since, until a few days ago,
I viewed a couple of the OU youtuber sites. They were all giddy about leaving the crappy Big 12 and finally playing big boy football in front of large SEC crowds. And they loved ending A&M's SEC advantage.aggiehawg said:You forgot the dildo crowd.redjalapeno-87 said:Social Justice Warriors now love them some "rednecks" stuck out in "hicksville" conference. They are in for a rude rude awakening. The playoffs have proven that. Neither team is near physical enough to compete week in and week out. In fact I predict neither Riley or Sark will be at their current teams 3 years in to SEC play.redjalapeno-87 said:I viewed a couple of the OU youtuber sites. The OU fans even went so far as saying they were coming in as equals to BAMA, well they called it BAMA 1a, and Sooners 1b, and that they were instantly the second best SEC team going forward. Without winning a game. OU is not padding their winning percentage in the cream puff 12 conference any more.
