Consider this possible line of thinking - adding t.u. and OU causes a situation where our 3 schools divide up recruits, thus keeping all 3 of us somewhat stifled relative to traditional SEC blue bloods (primarily Bama). As a result,
they keep an edge on all 3 of us. Coincidence that this went down as A&M is creeping up on Bama? Maybe not.

Slive had the 2010 expansion. Roy Kramer had the SECCG and the additions of Arkie and SC. Those are big acts to follow.

It really is that simple.

The SEC will in fact be the most powerful conference in college football for years to come...but the cost will be the collegiality and unification of the SEC.

Geographically (Texas). Do you not think the 3 of us all being in the SEC keeps any of the 3 from separating from the other 2 (as we are currently on thd cusp of doing)?

We're on the rise but I seriously doubt Bama or the SEC is panicked that we've gotten too good after 8 straight losses.

Exactly it's all about money now.

Not sure this is a one way street. Texas recruiting was already opened up to SEC schools, does this open up Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, etc recruiting for ou and texas? Do they have a better pitch in Texas but now also across most of the south?

If that is even partially true, A&M needs to get out. No sense in arguing about all this if A&M and SEC are not a good fit. I'm not sure how we can ignore this if true.

LSU has some corn dogs that they would like to share with you. Make it 4.

We might consider staying in for 3 to 4 years and then go independent if we can not have a fair shake. Above all else our coaches in all sports need to step up and get the job done. Baseball, softball, golf, etc. need to compete for the championship. That is how it should be done. Aggie will and performance.
