This confirms my Bohls post which people were right to be skeptical of. Regardless Sankey and the league backstabbed us for a chance to get the sips into the league. This level of kowtowing and secrecy to benefit the sips means Sankey is Beebe 2.0 and we've woken up to find ourselves in the Big 12 2.0, just with more prestigious football.

How long will it take the sips to poison this one? The wh*res in the conference will be dooming us and they arrogantly believe the sips can't dictate them.

OK I'm sorry but as a Texas fan/alum, if the whole behind the scenes deal happening without A&M involvement turns out to be true that is hilarious.

A decade after the big divorce, A&M has spent that time rather successfully building your brand and your program up to the point of being in national title contention while we've mostly been floundering around in mediocrity and worse. And after all that, after everything you did to get out of the shadow, one day we walk into your new house unannounced and your new family and neighbors immediately start ignoring you to gather around us while we drink your booze and put our feet on your white couch. No warning, you just came home from work one day and that hideous burnt orange Ferrari was parked in your driveway and you knew.

Of course it would also be EXTREMELY on-brand for Texas to end up getting rejected after a story breaks that we've got our sights set on some big prize and we've got all the pieces lined up and the deal is totally done behind the scenes because who would say no to us?

What I'm saying is, this is going to end up being hilarious no matter what. How often is the offseason this entertaining? Let's all enjoy the ride and take the laughs where we can find them.

I agree with you. Sankey is already in bed with the sips. Also, the other schools in our conference knew about this as well and kept it from us. We are still the new kid on the block and get zero respect in our own conference.

One fact is that Kirk Bohls is an idiot which is a slight to all the other idiots in the world. The "almost done" is pure sip "dezinformatsiya" to increase the pressure. Typical sip business partner tactic. They know there will be resistance to this move. A&M, Arkansas, & Missouri know these cheaters. I doubt Vandy wants to be in a conference with ou. They do not add much to the conference despite their opinion.

Sure I believe that this started 6 months ago. These things take time. When did A&M know is the question and I believe they've known for a while.

The SEC is the best conference year in and year out. It fields a team in the playoffs every year and sometimes two. It wins the national championship more times than it doesn't.

Oh, the SEC wants to add the Oklahoma TV market? Give me a break.

SEC schools, which already poach plenty of players out of Texas, wants more competition in that department?

The SEC is going to water down its conference so it's more difficult for their teams to be as successful as an Oregon who occasionally doesn't lose enough to be ranked highly and as Ohio State giggles its way into the playoffs with five-win seasons?

This is all just offseason hocus pocus to pump up the brand of ut and ou.
