How do you think the member institutions of the SEC will vote and why concerning expansion?

If they don't have the votes, there won't ever be a vote.

With ou and Texas not participating in big 12 conference meetings and both schools are supposedly sending a letter next week informing their conference of their decision to not sign on to the next tv contract.they must know something about their chances.

It's going to come down to money. Do OU and tu increase the pot enough to cause the SEC to kill the Big 12, kick off the super conference era, and tick off A&M (any maybe other SEC schools?

When A&M joined, they ran the numbers indicating the conference could now support a network, and it was estimated how much money each school would get (remember the "redneck accounting"). We haven't seen financials yet for adding OU and tu. Until those numbers come out, everything is completely speculative.

Everyone has a price. What the price is and whether OU and tu bring in enough cash to cover it is the central issue.

tu and ou don't bring in enough new revenue to justify their inclusion. They will never be SEC members. Any conversation about them as members is silly.

No, common sense will prevail when others in west especially consider the negative ramifications on recruiting. Already sip recruits are chiming in.

Of course they would want to join the SEC, they are in a third fiddle conference with a diminished brand.
