If the conference dissolves they won't have to pay anything. If the PAC, B1G, or ACC come after anyone else, the whole thing probably collapses and Texas and OU don't owe anything.

If tu and OU have this done deal with the SEC, that means either the SEC office negotiated crap on our heads behind our backs, OR A&M BOR negotiated crap on our heads without involving the AD. Both are BS of the highest order. This better NOT be a done deal or someone is A-hole extraodinaire.

BoR doesn't negotiate conference members. They can have involvement in where we go and what we do, but they don't deal with who else is in or out. That vote is cast by the president.

All the BOR did when we left was hasn't Loftin the authority to shop around and look.

It may be a done deal that OU and tu want to leave the BDF, but their landing spot is not a done deal. SEC member schools are going to want to see estimates of how much revenue will increase with expansion. How could they possibly decide without those numbers? And when those numbers are estimated, it's highly likely to leak.

This is what I don't understand from t.u.s perspective. They litterally own that conference. They get everything they want. They will not get that in the SEC.

They think they will. And so far, they are getting everything they want and have already ruined the conference, in my mind. No trust left.

Bohls is saying the negotiations were happening since December and that we were intentionally kept in the dark about it

Now that sounds like exactly what his horn subscribers want to hear, that they're so valuable and we're so irrelevant that the conference. decided not to even tell us

I really don't want to believe the SEC would do that to a member school after all the "brotherhood" talk

Notice the wording about "8 members"? Yeah that is all I need to see. It is a done deal. Them ghosting the call last night also says they are gone. Only hope now is that ESPN decides they would rather have two mega conferences in the SEC and ACC and the sips and sooners go there.

If it truly went down like that, maybe A&M should explore a move elsewhere

Sip will kill the SEC and the SEC doesnt seem to care about us. ACC would welcome us with open arms and we could have the same easy path to the playoff Clemson has

Exactly. The problem for the sips is that this only confirms that the SEC is the place to be and they are no longer relevant.
