//With tu/ou acceptance could this be a consideration. The pieces are all in place (with espn's lhn cable channel) to cover the parts of the SEC that really doesn't get equal time (or love) from the SEC network out of Hoover. ESPN could actually morph lgn into a cable product that exclusively covers southwest sports (TAMU, tu, ou ark, lsu or maybe mo) rather than talk about bama, ga and Florida all the time. Plenty of content for two channels. Format would compete directly with SECN, is this feasible?//Just my thoughts.//

The SEC network studios are in Charlotte, and each school has their own production team that provides the video feed/production for the games at their home stadiums.

The LHN has become an albatross for tu and a punchline for everyone else, and its a financial loser for ESPN (who owns all broadcast rights for SEC football and basketball...

None of the interested parties are going to throw up a roadblock as long as it ends up being revenue neutral for tu. LHN would die if it needed to be dead.

I wouldn't say "plenty of content" for a network that shows finebaum all afternoon.
