I wonder if Finebaum realizes that if tu joins the SEC that he may be the biggest loser in the entire deal? If this goes through, his days are numbered.

Imagine tu alum tuning into the SEC network and realizing that it's not "hook-em horns!" 24x7. Everybody knows that Finebaum loves to talk about Alabama. tu's giant ego will not put up with a conference network not spinning everything about them. Of course Finebaum probably imagines himself bigger than anything tu can throw at him, but he doesn't know tu.

The sips tiny liberal hearts and giant egos will work to cancel Finebaum. Book it.

The entire conference has forgotten how badly ESPN wants sip to succeed. They have sucked for 10 years and STILL get airtime like they're bama.

Finebaum wouldn't miss a beat. The SEC collecting two more of the traditional powers in college football would do nothing to diminish his SEC Supremacy schtick, or his other schtick which is trolling college football fans who take themselves and their teams way too seriously until they have entertaining meltdowns.

That's my point. tu alum are NOT going to allow Finebaum to be bigger than they are. They will not allow their meltdowns to be entertainment. Their ego is far too great. I've lived in austin 35 years... I know these people.

My hope is Finebaum and the rest of the SEC doesn't go along with this lunacy. tu is cancer.

Not sure they are numbered but it is pretty hypocritical to one day be bashing sips and the next welcoming them to SEC. Typical SEC.

Really? Contracts are a safeguard against being canceled? tu will not stop until they run the entire SEC network - or take it down trying.
