6'1" is excellent height at the college level and at least average height in the NFL for a CB. I think that rumor is bunk.

Same with BR local BThomas, told you that bama is off of him, LSU is still trying and Ags lead. Rogers is short and light, much smaller than his listed height and weight per my sources.

I guess I take "LSU cut him loose" to mean something different than you do

I'm not saying you aren't seeing that. I'm just stating that the idea that the 7th ranked CB in his class is being cut because he's not tall enough or weighs enough when he's only 16 or 17 seems nonsensical.

R Davis, extreme high rated LB, didn't sign and likely won't get to LSU.

Let's see LSU roster consists of 8 CB; 1 is 6'3", 3 are 6'2", 3 are 6'1" (including Stingley) and 1 is 6'.

Kid is 6'1" 180# which is huge for a HS corner. Stingley is 6'1" 194.

LSU didn't cut him loose. The kid sees a sinking ship and got out while he still could.
