If either team played a P5 schedule, they would be lucky to be .500 and everyone knows it.

Coming from FSU to Texas A&M was a step down in program prestige, but at least it was a HUGE step up in conference prestige. With Texas' performance in the 2010s, it would probably be a lateral program move and a huge step down for his stage.

Someone needs to tell this clown that Jimbos contract at A&M is fully guaranteed unless he leaves on his own accord, meaning that the horns would have to pay Herman and Jimbo a total of almost $70 million dollars just to get them out of their current contracts and then pay Jimbo a guaranteed 10 year contract of at least another $75 million

I didn't realize that, but that still means they would have to increase his pay a very large amount and fully guarantee it for the next ten years. I don't see them doing that for anyone not named Saban

I don't see how it is a step down when you look at the facilities, administration/alumni support, conference, etc.

I have no idea if that's right but that would be insane if there wasn't something in the contract that said he couldn't leave for no reason. What would prevent him from coaching the first year and then walking away with $67.5 million and sitting on a beach?

I was just talking from a prestige standpoint. Between the facilities, the salary, and the support, this is the better gig, but just off prestige, FSU is better.
