PFF analyzes every player and every play of every FBS game in the 2020 NCAA season. I think what they do is pretty cool and thought it would be worth sharing:

Every player and their rank (I think they do like 90 programs total):

Kellen Mond (70)
Isaiah Spiller (34)
Jalen Wydermyer (20)

WR's:
Caleb Chapman (90)
Chase Lane (110)
Jalen Preston (194)
Kam Brown (200)

OL:
Carson Green (46) (ranked among all Tackles)
Kenyon Green (11) (ranked among all Guards)
Ryan McCollum (33)
Jared Hocker (76)
Dan Moore Jr. (101)

Cornerbacks:
Myles Jones (118)
Devin Morris (132)
Jaylon Jones (187)

Safeties:
Demani Richardson (56)
Leon O'Neal Jr. (181)

LB's:
Aaron Hansford (84)
Buddy Johnson (155)

Inside Defenders:
Jayden Peevy (57)
Mckinnley Jackson (156)
Bobby Brown (167)

Edge Defenders:
DeMarvin Leal (22)
Michael Clemmons (64)

So it is not just me that thinks that O'Neal sux.

Damarvin Leal, Wydermyer, and McKinnley Jackson will all be ranked 1st Rounders when they leave A&M.

Kenyon Green looks like he's on the path to the first overall pick. I was excited about him as a prospect when we were recruiting him, but he's exceeding high expectations.

Buddy Johnson is a lot lower than I would have thought. Great to see Leal where he is and confirm that.

They claim that 166 interior dl are better than Bobby brown? I don't know about that. Is this statistical analysis or do they grade film?

And hocker is better than dan moore? An nfl team would be more likely to take dan Moore and move him to guard than hocker. Most services provide an overall grade, not just one relative to position group.

And this won't be popular, but 69 other college qbs are better than Mond? No way. He may under kick the coverage, but he would carve up a conference with bad defenses.

Have you actually watched, Brown? These numbers are more in line with what I see game in and game out. O'Neal has a lot of spirit, I'll leave it there.

Mond at 70, shocking

O'Neal deserves his number. I rarely see brown get pushed up front. He's not flashy, but tanks rarely are.

I call it overzealous. I think we are going to see more and more of Brian Williams

Brown is not a disrupter, we need a disrupter. Maybe he's taking on blocks and clearing the way for lb's and I'm just not seeing it?

Surprised Hansford is ranked so much better than Buddy.

Buddy plays the run well, but he is absolutely atrocious in coverage.

Kellen Mond is their 70th ranked player in college football.

He is 16th among the 130 quarterbacks they rated.

Not the way OP presented it, but that does sound about right.

I think both of those statements are debatable.

Monds QBR doesn't even crack the top 25. I think he is closer to 70 than he is 16 lol.

DTs, Safeties, and WRs are going to have to improve if we want to make a good season.

Not sure QBR is the best measure...Mond currently ranks 40th, which is misleading when you consider that 10 of the quarterbacks ranked ahead of him have only played one game, 13 play for non-P5 schools, and 3 are from the Big 12.

Wrong. He is the 70th ranked QB with an offensive grade of 62.8. To gain perspective of other QB's Rankings:

Felipe Franks 56th - 70.2
Sam Ehlinger 31st- 76.8
Kyle Trask 29th- 77
Mac Jones 1st- 93

Franks vs Mond is pretty debatable to me. Franks might consistently have a higher baseline but is still bleh. Mond has lower lows and higher highs it seems like. I wouldn't want either.

UNT's Jason Bean---who was demoted to 2nd string for several games earlier this season---is 3rd in their offensive grades for college quarterbacks.
