Obviously lots of moving parts that could add up to no season

I'm probably leaning 75/25 that there's not a season. The NFL sent out a 260 page book on how to handle the games this year, no way a University is staffed to handle this. Frankly with all of the bs happening, I'll gladly take a refund at this point.

Move the seasons one year and focus on 2021...trying to kluge a 2020 season seems like an exercise in futility.

Sad...just figure other stuff to do on saturdays.

At this point, I hope all of us have figured out other stuff to do besides college and professional sports. It might suck up north where it is too cold to do much, but in Texas the Fall is a great time to do other things.

If this season was important to them, you would think that they would self quarantine and not risk getting exposed to COVID.

I suspect a lot of them already stay away from the classrooms and couldn't get it there.

Quarantine college students. Lol.

Something like that.

Say the season plays on -- There is no guarantee our team will be fit and fully staffed to play each game. If we have a number of our starters out every week, it could hurt our changes to win what were supposed to be easy ones.

The same is true for all schools right now. People quick to condemn Big 10 and Pac 10, you cannot really sit here now and assure us that our team will be at 100% the entire season.

On the flip side of the coin, does a player have free reign after recovering? Say half your team has had it and recovered over the summer. Aren't you in a good spot?

I'm not sure if anybody knows for sure. We have the annual flu shot, as well as, we've all probably had the flu at some point.... yet influenza is still around.

Keep in mind, HIV/AIDS took a while to get all figured out. 3-4 months into it, we did not have the wealth of knowledge we have today.

Since I'm giving up on pro sports, the end of college sports as we know it boggles the mind.
