In hindsight, his family letting him commit to the University of Washington and then sending him on a national media tour all before his freshman year in high school maybe did not set the kid up for success.

I googled his sister just to see. A regular sweet looking girl who ruined her looks with Botox and/or plastic surgery.

Why do people do this to themselves? Looks so ugly and this cannot be reversed so easily.

I was in the room here one day... watchin' the Mexican channel on TV. I don't know nothin' about Pele. I'm watchin' what this guy can do with a ball and his feet. Next thing I know, he jumps in the air and flips into a somersault and kicks the ball in - upside down and backwards... the dang (sc) goalie never knew what the hell hit him. Pele gets excited and he rips off his jersey and starts running around the stadium waving it around his head. Everybody's screaming in Spanish. I'

Starkel has regressed alot this year. His accuracy the past few games has been atrocious.

I was always a Starkel fan, but he has regressed. Wasn't he the MVP of the bowl game vs Wake Forest just a couple years ago?

Looks like his confidence is shot, and Arkansas is probably not the place where quarterbacks go to get well. Another transfer might help him... especially to a lower division school where he can play immediately.

Hope he gets it together. Time is running out. My guess is Arkansas finishes the season with Jerry's grandson getting most of the PT.

I'm not exactly disagreeing but that team is in shambles. I don't think there is a single-player out there that can turn them around. They are lacking just about everywhere but at tight end. That guy is pretty solid when they can get him the ball.

Pretty sure he was down to Duke & Arky.

He chose Arky...a spread happy offense with little talent and likely to get slaughtered who also had the coach's former QB from his old school on the roster over a Duke team(and education should he want it) coached by a QB whisperer who just put a guy into the top 10 in the NFL, playing a much more manageable schedule.

He chose poorly.

He said he reached out to Duke, but they didn't bite.

Except that his performance hasn't even been 1% of Starkel's college career, so his perspective has been ass my dude.
