I have never bought a parking pass for any of the parking garages on gameday. How is it leaving the games? I am always worried it will be a nightmare trying to get out. Right now we park at the Barbara Bush school and can leave quickly but it takes about 20 min to walk to the car. Just wondering if anyone has any insight. TIA

Nightmare.

I have parked in the South side garage many times and have never had a problem leaving after the game.

We park in West Campus garage. 10 minutes after game, I am off campus and headed home.

If you don't get out of there within 45 minutes, they lock it down and you have to stay the night.

West campus garage and go down to the lower level and not up. Almost always (actually I've never experienced it full even arriving 10 minutes before kickoff) there's parking spots open on the lower level while the upper levels are filling up. Everyone goes up for some reason. If you park at the bottom it takes no time getting out. You go up one level and your out while the traffic jam above you ensues.

Park going downhill, if that makes sense. I used to park in the red center garage and that made all the difference in the world. You also better park in the right side for the exit you want. They go different directions out of town. Find the traffic flow maps and you will figure it out.

I park in UCG and have no issues. Only takes about 5 -10 minutes

Get there early and back into your spot.

how would you rank these garages: cain, west campus, ucg/koldus, vs any others...with the sole criteria of making a quick exit late in the game and heading back to the Dallas area?
