My favorite was how we started trying to run out the clock to end the game, with 10 minutes left down by 21. Lol.

Honest is -
1). Mond was terrible most of the game
2). Defense was good until they got worn down
3). Special Teams were good most of the game
4). Coaching was suspect most of the game
5). Jimbo didn't believe anything was wrong with Mond... that is insane!
6). We drop down to about 22-25 in rankings if we are lucky!

Defense played well overall and that's what's so frustrating .., this game was winnable. If Mond plays even a decent game we're in it. I can commend the defense and Elko but this loss sucks because we went out and blew it on the other side of the ball.

Agree. I also think the OL did pretty well. When your QB and WR can't complete a forward pass, it makes things hard on your defense and running game.halfastros81 said:

The team looked good. The QB looked bad. And that was the difference. Good QB play is everything, and the AG's didn't have it today.

Mac94: Agree. Offense from QB , receivers, play calls did not keep us in this game. Defense and DC Elko did show some fight. Clemson looked good; however, they only have 1 other ranked team currently to play: Syracuse??? Let's see if Jimbo and Team build/ learn from this loss...
This team is really missing our Juniors that left their teammates early to go play in the NFL. We would be really good if we had a TE, a great RB, and a Center.
We miss Sternberger and I have to think Mond's calf cramps or whatever forced him to not scramble all game. No improvisation and it looked like Jimbo decided to just get outta there with a semi close loss and his team in tact.
If sips beat lsu, they will take over recruiting. Nothing good about playing like this. Only hope LSU does to them what Clemson did to us. At least recruiting wise, things will remain the same.
Maybe bigger, I'm no fan of this offensive scheme. Why not just take pieces from ou, old Baylor, bama, Clemson instead of that? Too much talent at the skill position to be this stagnant.
