1.) Anthony Hines is at minimum a Second Team All SEC linebacker this year.

2.) Caleb Chapman starts week 2 and finished the season as the number two WR in catches and total yards for the season.

3.) Brian Williams, Elijah Blades, Leon and Renfro form the most formidable secondary the Aggies have seen since the early 90s and it only gets better next year. Finishes top 40 in pass efficiency D.

4.) Kellon Mond throws for 3300 yds, runs for 500 and is in the conversation for Heisman in 2020 when the season ends but goes Pro.

5.) Despite improving essentially at every phase of the game except Net Punt average and Rush D, the Aggies still end up with equal record as last year finishing 9-4 after a bowl win but still have a top 5 recruiting class.(edited)

1. I wouldn't be surprised by this. Tons of talent, the defense definitely needs big production from Hines and Buddy Johnson.

2. No. Kendrick Rogers will be the leading receiver on the team followed by Davis/Ausbon. Caleb Chapman will be a contributor in the future after Rogers and possible Davis/Ausbon leaves after this year.

3. I agree, the secondary will be much improved this year.

4. Kellen will elevate into super stardom this year.

5. I think this season we will go 10-2. With losses to Clemson and LSU. The biggest win of the year will be at home against Alabama. Down 5, Kendrick Rogers scores the game winning TD with 30 seconds left.

If we go 10-2 with loses to LSU and Clemson, that would likely land us a spot in the conference championship where a win would propel us into the playoff. Are you sure that's Kool aid you've got in that cup or is it something stronger? Hope you're right though.

I like your predictions except for Mond going pro early. He wants to win a national championship.

Just curiously, what was your prediction for last season?

If Mond was bigger, I would agree, but he would get murdered if he doesn't bulk up. That being said, I do think Mond will put up great stats the next two years.

I think we beat LSU and lose to Georgia

You are probably right about the receiver position, that group is ridiculously deep.

Rogers
Davis
Ausbon
Buckley
Chapman
Preston
Jones
Wright

But that is my prediction, probably my boldest.

When is the loss to Ga? Regular season, SECCG, or playoff?
Save pets. Vote Trump 2024.

1. D-Line has at least two players named All-SEC. They will not only be able to stuff the run, but can generate a pass rush that will keep opposing QB's on their heels;

2. Offensive Line gives-up fewer sacks than last year and Moore and Green are named All-SEC; and,

3. TAMU leads the league in passing offense and Mond surpasses Fromm and Tua as the best QB in the league.

If we beat Clemson we go 10-2 or better.
That win will be huge at the end of the season.

Every year someone claims an undersized quarterback is going to get murdered and every year there's a Brees, or a Russel Wilson, or a Manziel, or a Murray, or a Mayfield. And Mond is bigger than all of them.

We won't beat Clemson or Bama, but I think we split the Georgia and LSU games. The real question is if we can beat the rest of the West and finish second or third at 9-3.

We'll finish our recruiting class somewhere in the 6-10 range.

And how some of you guys can predict a bowl outcome without knowing the opponent is pretty incredible.

This is how I predict Bowl wins early: typically teams have the same record, but if your loses are to top teams and their loses are to lesser conference foes you win unless you team feels they should be playing for Natty but miss playoffs.

Related to my prediction for the season is my biggest concern: swag.

I think we can (probably) be optimistic the team will have enough, but there's no SwagCopter, or really anything like it.

It really helped with recruiting and getting our name out there. Remember the Pearland / Manvel game?

If 1-4 happen, our record will be no worse than 10-2.

Yeah but at this point you could assume their record is what it is for the same reason as yours. You don't know what their schedule is. Typically bowl games are evenly matched (at least that's the point). Theoretically every team has a 50% chance of winning their bowl game at the beginning of each season. Yet I'd bet that 90% of fans think they're going to win their bowl game every year.

To be fair...everyone has pinned 2020 as our breakout year. Even as far back as in 2017.

We have known it will be a senior laden team and weve known it will be the easiest, relatively, schedule wise with colorado and vandy.

If we fall on our face....well...sh**.

- Beat t.u in Sugar Bowl. Go 10-3 overall.
- Top 5 recruiting class.

Edit: updated to reflect 2020 bowl sked.

Mond? Super stardom?

What in the world do you guys see that the rest of the football world doesn't?

Better than half of CFB QBs? Sure. Top five in the SEC? Probably.

Super stardom? Nope.

We will shock the nation going 2-2/3-1 against Clem, Bama, Georgia, and LSU with no other losses.

We will be the talk of CFB and recruits will march on CS.

I will not engage or acknowledge any conversation with sips but instead sit passively smiling.
