We (Texas A&M) have a defensive back (DB) named Travon (T) Fuller on the team. He is from Athens (just like the elite OL prospect Hayes you mentioned earlier). "ontheway" hopes that connection will help us get Hayes to choose to play football at Texas A&M.

If Jimbo wants to win, he needs to have a lot of 5* and 4* like Bama and other top schools.

4* should be about 60-75%, maybe 10-20% of 5* and the rest as 3*,

5 Stars: 1-3 (About 10%)
4 Star: 18-20 (About 80%)
3 Star: Max of 3 (About 10%)
<3 Star: None

If we can achieve this, we are at Bama levels with good Jimbo coaching.

FYI

Right now we have 6 commits

1- 5 star
3 - 4 star
2 - 3 star

To note on the 3 star's. We may be cutting ties with one of them and the other was a borderline 4 star that completely shut things down (no camps, or anything) after he committed to us and has since fallen in rankings.

I thought the ranking services pretty much lost all credibility when that dude created a fake recruit that became a 5 star.

Or when that team in Austin got a huge bump in rankings for no apparent reason right before NSD?

Seriously, the ranking services are a joke. They are at best a self fulfilling prophecy. At worst, well, it seems that they are a microcosm of all that is bad about college football...
