So. Won.

So a guy gets hit without knowing who did it, and now suddenly know who it was. He also somehow knows that's how it all started, and it wasn't already ongoing.

I'll believe it when it's confirmed by us, or video.

Why would Steve Kragthorpe lie about that? I just cant think of any good reason he'd lie about being punched in the chest. Hes been at LSU a good bit of time now and you hear almost nothing from him besides when it was announced he had Parkinson's disease.

Is there actual proof? I haven't seen any.

Regardless who the guy punched, he should be disciplined. IF he did start it.

Doesn't have to be so black and white. Maybe he was mistaken on what happened--- example maybe he got bumped in tight space (wearing that pace maker, so if bumped wrong, it's probably going to still hurt).. People see him go down and ask what happened... Next thing you know Faulk is headhunting for the person who "punched" his friend.

If it's true, get rid of the guy. If not move on.

Knew Steve and his family when he was an assistant under RC. They were great people. Can't imagine Steve making up some story without basis to it

Kragthorpe is a nice guy and not someone who would start something.

I can't imagine him being singled out, my hope is someone got carried away celebrating the win and Faulk just read the situation wrong.

It sounds like Demayune Craig was trash talking after the game, possibly related to bad blood with O's people after he was fired by O after signing day in 2017

Kragthorpe says he admonished Craig but I suspect he's spinning how heated that was even if he didn't take any physical shots. If I'm right about that, I'm guessing red shirt guy pushed Krag away. Whether it qualified as a punch is hard to know until/if someone else has an account or more video. But it doesn't make sense to me to go after Krag as just some random LSU guy.

IMO, if that's what happened then the Parkinsons/pacemaker stuff is irrelevant. Krag should have walked away from Craig.

I'm sure most of you have no idea Kragthorpe spent four years on our sideline, including our Big 12 championship, and is known to be a great guy. I had no idea he had Parkinsons which makes me feel even more for the guy. Hope he's alright.

Just saying I suspect it's more nuanced than being portrayed. Things that can be true at the same time

• Craig should have behaved better
• Krag should have ignored Craig
• Red shirt shouldn't have touched Krag
• Faulk shouldn't have gone after red shirt.

Would so many on texags give the benefit of the doubt to the young obnoxious support staffer?

I mean Kragthorpe who several on this thread have said what kind guy he is and we are pointing finger at him in blame or questioning if he is telling truth for a support staffer who was seen bouncing around acting a fool on the sideline.

I don't think anyone thinks he's making it up. However, his rationale for why he got hit may be different than the punchers.

He could be confused or mistaken, and that would have no effect upon his reputation etc.

Some dumb kid got overly excited and did something stupid. Ban him from the sidelines for the bowl game.

And Craig should've acted more professional. Leave the trash talking to the players.

Steve is a good man. He should have just left the field and never should have told a coach from another team how to act after a win. No matter what the coach was doing. I am a devout Christian. But i am highly competitive. Emotions are high. It is just smarter to be quiet and go to the locker room. Look, LSU coaches and players act like Bad A**es the entire game. I even saw a LSU coach mocking a Yell leader not 2 feet in front of him. you better meet their stuff with equal emotion and toughness or you will get beat. Knowing emotions and competitive toughness is pumping through every player and coach Steve should know to just let it go and move on. Just my opinion.
