If ANYONE with even a shred of influence is reading this.......make it stop. Kill it with fire. It's atrocious.
Do we do this to push the "Fightin' Texas Aggie" moniker? We don't have it in the endzones but we need people to know we still use it?

While we are at it we might as well get one side of the stadium to yell "FARMERS" and the other side to respond with "FIGHT" and keep going until it dissolves into awkward applause.... So intimidating.....

Like I said in the other thread. Concerned students should start a social media campaign. I'd suggest a coordinated effort for the following:
"That's another Texas Aggie..."
Students and alumni: "no...just no"

My 12 year old son commented to me during the spring game, the response to and that's another fighting Texas Aggie....."is like a teenager mumbling a response to their parent, grudgingly being forced to stop their use of their smart phone"

Hearing the announcer say, "That's another FIGHTIN TEXAS AGGIE FIRST DOWN!!" then having the entire stadium "WHOOOP" in unison is WAYYYYYY BETTER IN EVERY WAY!!!

The worst part was how he said it. He would kinda speed up as he said fightin Texas and then emphasize Aggie. Fans said first down a few times then it went quiet.
This silly stuff is not going away. The more the Task Force ans some others try to make Kyle Field " the most unique and intimidating stadium in all of college football" the more it becomes like Baylor. Baylor East? No thanks! Simple solution: quit trying and let Aggies be Aggies...1990s style!
Perhaps changes like this have happened since forever. Perhaps we as Aggies are just really bad at changing with the times.

I absolutely hate it. It would probably be more tolerable if the crowd was into it, and it didn't seem like such a chore to do so. But to get the crowd into it, we need to see the team actually competing. Actually, nah, it would still suck.
