I'm actually a little worried about that too. Tragic events like that can change someone, on the other hand changes of scenery from where it happened sometimes can turn you back around.

Which is probably one of the reasons he wants a change in scenery.

This is a HUGE hire. Will be the biggest of the off-season so far.

No guaranty of success, of course, but this is big-boy business to play big-boy football.

Sumlin was a mid-major hire who lucked into an elite offense and very good starting 11-13 on defense for 2012, as Sherman recruits on offense cycled through the offense has deteiorated, and Sumlin's "great" recruiting has yielded no depth on DL, only 2 decent LBs with two promising true fish, and too many FR and SO playing in the secondary.

You guys laugh, but I absolutely wonder if Jimbo still has a fire in his belly at this point. A rough divorce, and by all accounts his divorce got nasty, can completely change a person.
